Marvel Comics has an action packed line-up for their new releases this week. SPIDER-VERSE is coming to it’s conclusion, we get ourselves another brand new Star Wars series and Hydra rears its ugly head again this week!

So now let’s take a look at what Marvel has for us this week!

Darth Vader #1

Darth Vader #1

One of the most popular villains in the world finally gets his own series. Following the January release of Marvel’s STAR WARS #1, Darth Vader emerges from the shadows, picking up right where fans left off in Star Wars: A News Hope. We’re going to get a look from the other side of the intergalactic battle, as we see what it’s like from the Empire’s point of view.

DARTH VADER #1 is a must have this week, not just because it finally brings us one of the best villains on the big screen, but finally we get to see what the war is like for the Galactic Empire.

Dan Slott has taken Spider-Man to a whole new level ever since the reboot of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, and now the ultimate battle, collecting different Spider-Men and Spider-Women from across the time stream, come to an epic conclusion in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #14.

The prophecy that the Inheritors have been talking about is finally about to happen, and Peter Parker, our very own friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, has to try and find a way to prevent it form happening. But as always, our old friend the Superior Spider-Man has something up his sleeve.

Take a look at this epic conclusion this week!

All-News Captain America: Fear Him #2 ( of 4)663597_4219c08054b2d313fbdc333096e392e06aa58ab0

Falcon has been in the Captain America mantle for some time since Steve Rogers is now unable to. Now, the new Captain America searches in the sewers of New York for his new comrade, Nomad, while Scarecrow and his army of crows reek terror through the city.

It seems like this new Captain America is being thrown curveball after curveball since his debut. It should be interesting though to see what new things lay ahead for our patriotic hero. Pick up ALL-NEW CAPTAIN AMERICA: FEAR HIM #2 this week to see what Hydra has planned for our new Captain America

X-Men #24 663224_d0ccd3a1b989f500973da3efdeebb35084f62c79

In this issue of X-Men, Storm must confront her all-time fear, claustrophobia, as she investigates the mysterious sinkhole that appeared in the middle of Black Rock Desert. But this mysterious phenomenon has ties to old allies, and also old enemies, as the rest of the X-Men find out above ground while Storm searches for answers underground.

I’ve liked this take on a mainly all female group of X-Men in this series, and it always makes for a good story when such a powerful and confident hero like Storm has to go head to head with her worst fear in the world.

Guardians of the Galaxy #24663418_17be95fe4bc82833061c8f07b239c16ce149e6be

Last but not least is the second chapter in the Black Vortex arc in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #24. The Slaughter Squad is catching up to the Guardians and the X-Men, and with no other options in sight, the group contemplates the possibility of using the powers of the Black Vortex to their advantage. But the question is, will they be able to use it’s corruptive power, or succumb to it?

Take a look at what the band of misfits are doing as they tamper with something that they shouldn’t be (as always), and see where their fate lies. Also Howard the Duck is in it, so that alone has to draw you in!
